About Session Replay Insights

See what users actually do — and fix what breaks.

Session Replay Insights covers session replay, heatmaps, behavior & error analytics, ux. Our house rule: an anecdote without a count is a story, not a finding. When we write "users miss this button", we tell you how many sessions we watched and how often it actually happened — because one dramatic replay can send a whole team fixing the wrong thing.

How we work

We watch real sessions, run real heatmap studies, and set up the tooling ourselves — masking rules, sampling configs, consent flows included. When we describe a replay, we narrate it like field notes: what the user did, at what timestamp, and how many other sessions show the same pattern. And when a practice crosses the creepy line, we say so plainly instead of hiding behind feature descriptions.

The people

Theo Lange

UX researcher. I've watched more rage clicks than any human should. Replay analysis, heatmaps, and the craft of turning sessions into decisions.

Amaia Goikoetxea

Privacy engineer who ended up in UX analytics. I write about masking, consent, and watching sessions without being creepy.

Independence

We're part of an openly-operated portfolio of trade publications and some vendors we cover sponsor us. That relationship is disclosed, sponsor links are tagged as sponsored, and no sponsor gets editorial input. The details are on our editorial standards page.
